我觉得小组合作学习的目的是要让人人参与学习过程，人人尝试成功的喜悦。
但是在实际的教学中，一些学困生在小组中处于被动地位，没有表现的机会，往往会在小组掩护下逃避责任，合作学习就成了一句空话……
而我们缺乏合作精神和分享意识。
在汇报交流中，虽然发言的同学有时也会用“我们小组认为”这样的字眼，但他第一个所表达的观点总是他自己的，总是以自我为中心，很少去综合小组成员的.观点，根本不是小组的合作学习成果。
我们没有学会倾听，我们往往是表达的欲望胜过一切，总希望亮出自己的观点。

尤其是少数民族地区的英语教学仍存在着很多的问题，很多学生对英语写作常常充满畏惧，作文质量也较低。如，有的学生拿来就写，不论对错，写完也不检查；有的学生看到写作要求，毫无头绪，无从下笔等。基于这些，我认为在初中英语作文教学中实施小组合作学习就显得十分迫切了。
一、小组合作学习在初中英语作文教学中运用的作用探析
学习过程是一个信息互动的过程，它往往是以一种多向交叉的方式进行传递的。而小学合作学习就是以“学生”为中心，通过合作，加强学生的互动，让小组成员在合作、互动中完成任务，这样的过程更利于学生主动去获取知识，提高学习能力。
首先，小组合作有利于学生互教互学，彼此交流信息。这不仅给小组成员提供了大量的发言和思想交流的机会，更能帮助学生树立学习的自信心，激发学生参与写作的兴趣。
其次，小组合作学习中可以让学生充分发挥自身的优势，调动学生的学习主动性，培养学生的合作意识和竞争意识，这更是学生学习主体地位得以体现的重要途径。
二、小组合作学习在初中英语作文教学中的实施方式和步骤
小组合作写作教学的一般步骤可以分为七个方面：
1.小组内部讨论
教师给定写作要求后，小组组长要根据要求组织小组成员对写作要求进行熟悉和把握，并针对写作要求进行交流，挖掘写作的主题，对生词、词组及相关信息进行查缺补漏。（小组记录员及时记录相关信息）
2.组织全班交流
